One socket is for heating, the other is for cooling. This allows you to connect, for example, a radiator and a fan and, based on the current temperature, set automatic events related to maintaining a constant temperature. Of course, you can connect only one device, e.g. a radiator, which will allow you to obtain a specific temperature. If the sensor temperature exceeds the set upper limit, the heating socket will turn off. If it exceeds the lower limit, the heating socket will turn on. A similar situation with the cooling socket.
